📝 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • For the Frosting:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar

👩‍🍳 Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, melt 1 cup of butter.
  3. Stir in granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Add cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  5. Fold in chopped pecans and pour batter into the prepared dish.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle marshmallows on top.
  8. Return to oven for about 5 minutes until marshmallows puff.
  9. For the frosting: Melt 1/2 cup butter in a saucepan. Stir in cocoa powder and milk until smooth. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla and powdered sugar until creamy.
  10. Pour warm frosting over the marshmallows and spread evenly.
  11. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
