Juicy Glazed Meatloaf (Better Than Classic!)
I never thought I’d make meatloaf like THIS — but now I’m never going back!
This meatloaf is incredibly moist, flavorful, and topped with a sweet and tangy glaze
that takes it to the next level.
Ingredients
Meatloaf
- 1½ lb (700 g) ground beef (80/20 works best)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (or crushed crackers)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme or Italian seasoning
Glaze
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk. Let soak for 1–2 minutes.
- Add eggs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, and seasoning.
- Mix in ground beef gently until just combined (do not overmix).
- Shape mixture into a loaf and place in the prepared pan.
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard.
- Spread half of the glaze over the meatloaf.
- Bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
- Remove from oven, spread remaining glaze on top, then return to oven.
- Bake for another 15–20 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

- Mashed potatoes or roasted potatoes
- Green beans or steamed vegetables
- Fresh salad on the side
Tips
- For extra moisture, add ½ cup shredded cheese inside the meatloaf.
- You can substitute half the beef with ground turkey.
