Juicy Garlic Herb Steak Strips

Ingredients
- 2 lbs flank steak or sirloin steak
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp butter (for finishing)
Instructions
- Pat the steak dry with paper towels.
- Rub both sides with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until very hot.
- Sear steak 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust time as needed).
- Add butter, garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes during the last minute of cooking.
- Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steak.
- Remove from heat and let rest 5–10 minutes.
- Slice against the grain into strips.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
