Janet’s Decadent Banana Bread
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup melted butter
 - 1 cup granulated sugar
 - 2 large eggs
 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 1/2 cup sour cream
 - 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
 - 2 medium bananas, sliced
 
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir this dry mixture into the butter mixture until smooth.
 - Gently fold in the sour cream, walnuts, and sliced bananas until evenly distributed.
 - Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
 - Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
 - Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
