Italian Beef and Pepper Noodle Skillet 🍝🇮🇹

Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups (200 g) egg noodles or any pasta
- 1 ½ cups (360 ml) beef broth
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt & ½ tsp pepper 🧂
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup (50 g) shredded mozzarella (optional)
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add diced onion, garlic, and bell peppers; cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in tomato paste, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Let it simmer for 10 minutes until thickened slightly.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss everything together until well coated.
- Top with shredded mozzarella if desired and let melt before serving. 🍝🔥
Tip: For extra richness, stir in a splash of heavy cream or a spoonful of ricotta cheese at the end — it makes the sauce silky and irresistible!
