Honey Garlic Glazed Chicken Bites

Honey Garlic Glazed Chicken Bites 🍯🍗
“My husband’s exact words after his first bite: ‘Oh my God, honey, this is fantastic! I’m actually hoping the kids don’t like theirs now 😁’”
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) chicken breast or tenders, cut into bite-sized pieces
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt and black pepper
- 1 cup oil (for frying)
For the Honey Garlic Glaze:
- 3 tbsp honey 🍯
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
- 1 tbsp butter 🧈
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp chili flakes (optional 🌶️)
Instructions
- Prepare the coating: In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Coat chicken: Dredge chicken pieces in the flour mixture until well coated.
- Fry: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken pieces until golden and crispy, about 5–7 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Make the glaze: In a pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, and chili flakes. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Toss & serve: Add the fried chicken to the sauce and toss until well coated and sticky. Serve hot and enjoy!
Tip: Serve with steamed rice or fries — and double the sauce if you love it extra sticky! 😋
