Homemade Brownies 🍫
Rich, fudgy, and irresistibly chocolatey — these brownies melt in your mouth!
Ingredients
- 1 cup (225g) butter, melted
- 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (85g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (90g) chocolate chips (optional for topping or mixing in)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla until combined. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking after each addition.
- Mix dry ingredients: In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Combine: Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined (do not overmix). Stir in half of the chocolate chips if desired.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
- Cool completely before slicing into squares. Enjoy your rich, fudgy brownies!
Tip: For extra gooey brownies, slightly underbake them and let them cool before cutting.
