Heavenly Pineapple Cheeseball
Ingredients
- 2 packages of cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 can of crushed pineapple, thoroughly drained
- ½ cup chopped green onions
- ½ cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 tsp seasoning salt
- 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- Assorted crackers for serving
Preparation
Step 1:
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gently fold in the chopped green onions and green bell pepper until well combined.
Step 2:
Incorporate the seasoning salt and lemon pepper seasoning into the mixture. Then, add ½ cup of the chopped pecans and mix until evenly distributed.
Step 3:
Transfer the mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap. Shape it into a ball and wrap it tightly. Refrigerate overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
Step 4:
Before serving, roll the cheeseball in the remaining chopped pecans until fully coated. Place the cheeseball in the center of a serving plate and surround it with assorted crackers.
