These cheesy pastry pockets are simple, quick, and dangerously delicious!
📝 Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough (or puff pastry)
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional for extra flavor)
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
🔥 Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Prepare the Dough
Unroll the dough and cut into squares (if using crescent dough, press seams together first).
3️⃣ Add the Filling
Place a generous spoonful of mozzarella (and cheddar if using) in the center of each square.
4️⃣ Seal
Fold corners toward the center to form a sealed pocket.
Press edges tightly so cheese doesn’t leak out.
5️⃣ Season
Brush tops with egg wash.
Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Brush over each pocket.
6️⃣ Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
7️⃣ Serve
Let cool slightly (cheese will be hot!) and serve warm.
