Quick Beef & Pasta (Concise)

Ingredients
- 12 oz (350 g) short pasta (elbow, macaroni)
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth (or water + bouillon)
- 1 cup tomato sauce (or ½ can tomato paste + water)
- 2 tbsp flour (or ½ cup extra sauce)
- Salt, pepper, paprika to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
Method (Short)
- Cook pasta until just al dente, drain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet. Sauté onion until soft, add garlic 30 sec.
- Add ground beef, brown and break up; season with salt, pepper, paprika.
- Stir in tomato sauce and beef broth. If you want thicker gravy, mix flour with a little cold water and stir in.
- Simmer 5–8 minutes until sauce thickens. Fold pasta into sauce or serve sauce over pasta.
- Adjust seasoning and serve hot.
Quick tips: Add frozen peas or carrots in step 4 for veggies. Use grated cheese on top if liked.
