Grandma’s Butter Steak Recipe

Grandma’s Pan-Seared Butter Steak
“OMG, we ate way too much of this! It was too good to stop. This recipe is a keeper!”
Ingredients
- 3 ribeye steaks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, smashed
- Rosemary or thyme sprigs
- Salt & black pepper
Instructions
- Let steaks sit at room temperature for 20–30 minutes.
- Season generously with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
- Heat a cast-iron pan over high heat with olive oil.
- Sear each side for 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
- Add butter, garlic, and herbs; baste steaks for 1–2 minutes.
- Cook to desired doneness, then rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
