Grandma’s Butter Steak Recipe


Grandma’s Pan-Seared Butter Steak

“OMG, we ate way too much of this! It was too good to stop. This recipe is a keeper!”

Ingredients

  • 3 ribeye steaks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, smashed
  • Rosemary or thyme sprigs
  • Salt & black pepper

Instructions

  1. Let steaks sit at room temperature for 20–30 minutes.
  2. Season generously with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
  3. Heat a cast-iron pan over high heat with olive oil.
  4. Sear each side for 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Add butter, garlic, and herbs; baste steaks for 1–2 minutes.
  6. Cook to desired doneness, then rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
