Grandma’s 4-Ingredient Cheesy Potato Soup

Creamy, comforting, and made with just 4 simple ingredients.
This cozy potato soup is perfect for chilly days and always hits the spot.
Ingredients
- 4 cups peeled potatoes, diced
- 2 cups milk (or half & half)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
Instructions

Add potatoes to a pot and cover with water. Boil until fork-tender.
Drain most of the water, leaving a little in the pot. - Lower heat and add milk. Gently mash some of the potatoes for a creamy texture.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and black pepper. Serve hot.
Tip: Add a small knob of butter or a splash of cream if you want it extra rich.
