Crockpot Mac and Cheese
Creamy and Cheesy Crockpot Macaroni Delight
This slow cooker mac and cheese is rich, velvety, and unbelievably easy—perfect for busy days, gatherings, or family comfort meals.
Ingredients
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 4 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, cubed
- 4 cups milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Lightly grease the crockpot with non-stick spray or butter.
- Add uncooked macaroni, shredded cheddar, mozzarella, cream cheese cubes, and melted butter.
- Pour in the milk and stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix everything until evenly combined.
- Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to prevent sticking.
- Once the pasta is tender and creamy, switch the crockpot to warm.
- (Optional) Toast breadcrumbs in a pan with a bit of butter and sprinkle on top before serving.
Tips
- For extra creaminess, add 1/2 cup evaporated milk.
- Use freshly shredded cheese—pre-shredded blends don’t melt as smoothly.
- Add cooked bacon, jalapeños, or hot sauce for a fun twist.
