Crockpot Hamburger Steaks with Gravy


Crockpot Hamburger Steaks with Mushroom Gravy 🍄

“Throw beef patties and mushrooms in the crock with gravy mix, and you get a dinner
so delicious it tastes like an old-school diner classic.”

Ingredients

  • 4 beef patties (about ½ lb / 500 g total)
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 cup water or beef broth
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Place beef patties in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Add sliced mushrooms on top and around the patties.
  3. Sprinkle gravy mix evenly over everything.
  4. Pour in water or beef broth.
  5. Season with black pepper and garlic powder.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  7. Spoon gravy over patties before serving.

Serving Suggestions

Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles for the ultimate comfort meal.

Tip:
Brown the patties in a skillet before slow cooking for extra flavor — optional but delicious!
