π₯ Crockpot French Onion Meatloaf with Melted Swiss Cheese
Comfort food at its finest β juicy, flavorful, cheesy, and unbelievably easy! π
π§ Ingredients:
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 packet French onion soup mix
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) French onion soup
- 6β8 slices Swiss cheese
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
π₯ Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, French onion soup mix, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Shape mixture into a loaf and place it in the crockpot.
- Pour the canned French onion soup over the meatloaf and top with sliced onions.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6β7 hours or HIGH for 3β4 hours.
- During the last 15 minutes, place slices of Swiss cheese on top and let them melt.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with mashed potatoes or veggies.
