Crockpot Barbecue Ribs

🍖 Crockpot Barbecue Ribs
Fall-off-the-bone tender ribs with rich BBQ flavor.
So easy, even the skeptics will be asking for seconds!
Ingredients
- 2–3 lbs pork baby back ribs or spare ribs
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Optional: ½ tsp chili powder or cayenne (for heat)
Instructions
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and cut ribs to fit your slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and optional chili powder.
- Rub seasoning generously over both sides of the ribs.
- Place ribs into the crockpot, standing or layered as needed.
- Pour barbecue sauce evenly over the ribs.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, until very tender.
- Optional (recommended): Transfer ribs to a baking sheet, brush with extra BBQ sauce, and broil 3–5 minutes until caramelized.
- Rest a few minutes, then serve and enjoy.
🔥 Broiling at the end gives that sticky, smoky finish like oven-baked ribs — totally worth it!
