Crispy Baked Parmesan Onion Rings
Golden, crunchy, and packed with flavor — these oven-baked onion rings are
the kind of snack that disappears fast. My husband took one bite and
immediately came running for the recipe!
Ingredients
- 2 large onions, sliced into thick rings
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray or olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate onion slices into rings and set aside.
- Place flour in one shallow bowl.
- Beat eggs in a second bowl.

In a third bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese,
garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. -
Dip each onion ring into flour, then egg, then coat well in the breadcrumb
mixture. - Place rings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray for extra crispiness.

Bake for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown
and crispy. - Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
