Creamy Salisbury Steak

A classic comfort dish with tender beef patties smothered in rich, creamy gravy.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk or water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Mix ground beef with onion soup mix and form into patties.
  3. Place patties in a baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup with milk.
  5. Pour the mixture over the patties.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 40–50 minutes until cooked through.

Serving Ideas

Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or bread to soak up the creamy gravy.
