Creamy Garlic Parmesan Baked Potatoes
These creamy baked potatoes are rich, comforting, and packed with garlic parmesan flavor.
Tender potato chunks coated in a silky herb cream sauce and baked until golden and bubbling.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs baby potatoes, halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 ½ cups milk or heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ cup shredded mozzarella (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place potatoes in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in milk or cream until smooth and thickened.
- Add Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until melted.
- Pour sauce evenly over potatoes.
- Top with mozzarella if using.
- Bake uncovered for 35–45 minutes until potatoes are tender and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
