Creamy Garlic Parmesan Baked Potatoes

These creamy baked potatoes are rich, comforting, and packed with garlic parmesan flavor.
Tender potato chunks coated in a silky herb cream sauce and baked until golden and bubbling.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs baby potatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 ½ cups milk or heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup shredded mozzarella (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place potatoes in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Slowly whisk in milk or cream until smooth and thickened.
  6. Add Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until melted.
  7. Pour sauce evenly over potatoes.
  8. Top with mozzarella if using.
  9. Bake uncovered for 35–45 minutes until potatoes are tender and golden.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
