Creamy Chicken Casserole

A rich and comforting baked dish made with tender chicken breasts covered in a creamy, flavorful sauce. Perfect for an easy and satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon pieces (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (thyme or parsley)
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and season with salt and black pepper.

In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, bacon pieces, garlic powder, and herbs until smooth.

Pour the creamy sauce evenly over the chicken.

Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 15–20 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.

Sprinkle cheese on top during the last 5 minutes if desired.

Serving

Serve hot with rice, pasta, or vegetables.
