Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, melted butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Stir in the cooked rice until evenly combined.
- Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes until set and golden on top.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Serving Suggestions
- Top with whipped cream
- Dust with cinnamon or nutmeg
- Serve warm or chilled
Tip: For extra richness, replace ½ cup of milk with heavy cream.
