🍋 Classic Lemon Cream Dessert

Once served nightly at a cozy Massachusetts bed & breakfast, this light lemon
dessert was the perfect ending after hearty stews and rich chowders.
Guests loved it so much they mentioned it in reviews—and now the recipe lives on.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk lemon juice, sugar, lemon zest, and vanilla.
  3. Gently fold the lemon mixture into the whipped cream.
  4. Spoon into serving dishes and chill for at least 1 hour.
  5. Serve cold as a light and refreshing finish.
