A timeless holiday appetizer passed down through generations. Simple,

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch celery stalks, washed and trimmed
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup green olives, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup pimentos or roasted red peppers, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill or parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut celery stalks into 3–4 inch pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Stir in chopped olives, pimentos, herbs, and pepper.
  4. Spread or pipe the mixture generously into each celery piece.
  5. Chill for 20–30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
