🍞 Cinnamon Swirl Quick Bread

“My grandma used to make this recipe all the time but I haven’t had it in years!!”

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon Swirl:

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tablespoons milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir in milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla until combined.
  4. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan.
  5. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle half over the batter.
  6. Pour the remaining batter, then top with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
  7. Use a knife to gently swirl the cinnamon through the batter.
  8. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over the warm loaf.
