Chocolate Cream-Filled Loaf Cake

🍫 Chocolate Cream-Filled Loaf Cake

“I make this every Christmas and literally have to bake it in the middle of the night
and hide it from my family if I want any left. Self-control simply disappears when this cake is around!”

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk (for the cream center)
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting or ganache

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
  5. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until smooth.
  6. Pour half the batter into the pan, add condensed milk in the center, then top with remaining batter.
  7. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  8. Cool completely, then frost with chocolate frosting or ganache.
⭐ Tip: Chill the cake before slicing for a perfectly clean cream center!
