🧀🥩 Cheesy Steak Quesadilla Bake
An easy, cheesy, crowd-pleasing dish that’s perfect for parties, family
dinners, or anytime you want something comforting and delicious.
🧾 Ingredients
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 450 g (1 lb) beef steak (sirloin or flank), thinly sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
- Optional: chili flakes or taco seasoning
👩🍳 Instructions

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak slices,
season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Cook 4–5 minutes
until browned. Remove and set aside. -
In the same skillet, add onion, mushrooms, and bell pepper. Sauté for
4–6 minutes until soft and lightly caramelized. -
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Lightly grease a baking dish.
Place one tortilla on the bottom. -
Layer steak, vegetables, and a mix of cheeses. Repeat layers and finish
with cheese on top. -
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake another
10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and golden. - Let rest for 5 minutes, slice, and serve hot.

- Serve with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.
- Swap steak for chicken if you like.
