Ingredients

  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups marinara or tomato sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • Salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook noodles according to package directions and drain.
  3. Brown ground beef with onion in a skillet; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Mix noodles with beef sauce and half the cheese.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
💡 Tip: Add a sprinkle of parmesan or red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
