Ingredients
- 12 oz egg noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cups marinara or tomato sauce
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
- Salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook noodles according to package directions and drain.
- Brown ground beef with onion in a skillet; season with salt and pepper.
- Add tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Mix noodles with beef sauce and half the cheese.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
