Cheesesteak Garbage Bread
It may be called “Garbage Bread”… but it tastes like pure gold!
Stuffed with juicy beef, sautéed peppers and onions, and loads of melty cheese — all wrapped in golden pizza dough.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella or provolone
- 1 refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook ground beef until browned. Drain grease.
- Add sliced peppers and onion; sauté until softened.
- Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Roll pizza dough into a large rectangle.
- Spread beef mixture evenly over dough.
- Sprinkle generously with cheese.
- Roll tightly into a log and seal edges.
- Brush with egg wash.
- Bake 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
- Slice and serve warm.
