Cardiologist’s Nightmare Casserole

🔥 Cardiologist’s Nightmare Casserole
A rich, cheesy, meaty casserole loaded with hot dogs, ground beef, and melted cheese.
Not for counting calories — absolutely for counting compliments.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 6–8 hot dogs, halved
- 1 can chili (with or without beans)
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown ground beef in a skillet; season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Stir in chili and hot dogs; simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Spread mixture evenly into a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Roll crescent dough around some of the hot dogs and place on top.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
