A warm, buttery cobbler packed with juicy peaches and a golden sweet crust — simple, comforting, and perfect for any season.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sliced peaches (fresh or frozen, peeled)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Pour batter over the butter without stirring.
  4. Arrange peach slices evenly on top of the batter.
  5. Bake 35–40 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Serve warm — best with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!
