Ingredients
- Brownie base: melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, cocoa powder, flour, salt, baking powder.
- Pecan topping: brown sugar, corn syrup (or maple syrup), eggs, melted butter, chopped pecans, vanilla, pinch of salt.
Directions
- Prepare pan and preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Make brownie batter and spread into pan; par-bake 12–15 minutes.
- Mix pecan topping and pour over warm brownie layer.
- Bake additional 25–30 minutes until topping is set and golden.
- Cool completely (2+ hours), slice and serve. Optionally refrigerate to firm before cutting sharp squares.
