Biscuits & Gravy Hashbrown Casserole
A hearty, comforting breakfast casserole packed with biscuits, sausage gravy,
crispy hashbrowns, and melty cheese. Perfect for weekends and holiday mornings.
Ingredients
- 1 (20–24 oz) package frozen hashbrowns, thawed
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuits, cut into quarters
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 packet (2.75 oz) country gravy mix
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Prepare the country gravy according to package directions.
- Spread hashbrowns evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Top with cooked sausage, biscuit pieces, and shredded cheese.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, gravy, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the mixture evenly over the casserole.
- Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, until golden brown and set in the center.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Tip:
For extra flavor, use spicy breakfast sausage or add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
This casserole can be assembled the night before and baked in the morning.
