Biscuits & Gravy Hashbrown Casserole

A hearty, comforting breakfast casserole packed with biscuits, sausage gravy,
crispy hashbrowns, and melty cheese. Perfect for weekends and holiday mornings.

Ingredients

  • 1 (20–24 oz) package frozen hashbrowns, thawed
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuits, cut into quarters
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 packet (2.75 oz) country gravy mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Prepare the country gravy according to package directions.
  4. Spread hashbrowns evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Top with cooked sausage, biscuit pieces, and shredded cheese.
  6. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, gravy, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  7. Pour the mixture evenly over the casserole.
  8. Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, until golden brown and set in the center.
  9. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Tip:
For extra flavor, use spicy breakfast sausage or add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
This casserole can be assembled the night before and baked in the morning.
