Banana Cream Cheese Loaf


Banana Cream Cheese Loaf

Moist banana bread with a rich cream cheese center.
Perfect for holidays, church gatherings, or anytime you want guaranteed compliments.

Banana Bread Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cream Cheese Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then bananas and vanilla.
  5. Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  7. Pour half of the banana batter into the loaf pan.
  8. Spread cream cheese filling evenly over batter.
  9. Top with remaining banana batter.
  10. Bake 55–65 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Cool completely before slicing.
