Australian Chocolate Weet-Bix Slice

This classic Australian no-bake slice is rich, chocolatey, and incredibly easy.
Made with crushed Weet-Bix and topped with smooth chocolate icing, it’s a lunchbox legend.

Ingredients

  • 3 Weet-Bix biscuits, crushed
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • Âľ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 125 g butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Chocolate Icing

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons hot water

Instructions

  1. Line a square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix Weet-Bix, coconut, flour, sugar, and cocoa.
  3. Add melted butter, vanilla, and milk. Mix until combined.
  4. Press mixture firmly into prepared pan.
  5. Mix icing ingredients until smooth.
  6. Spread icing evenly over the slice.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  8. Slice into squares and serve.
Pro Tip:
For extra indulgence, sprinkle coconut or chopped nuts over the icing before it sets.
