Ingredients
- 2 apples (1 red and 1 green), chopped
- 1 cup celery, sliced
- ½ cup dried cranberries
- ½ cup pecans, toasted and chopped
- 2 tbsp poppy seeds (optional)
For the Dressing
- ¼ cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients: Chop the apples and celery into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise (or yogurt), honey, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Combine: Pour the dressing over the apples, celery, cranberries, and pecans. Toss gently until everything is evenly coated.
- Chill: Refrigerate for at least 20–30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
- Serve: Garnish with extra pecans or cranberries and enjoy!
