Ingredients:
- 5 eggs
- 16 grams baking powder
- 200 grams (1 cup) caster sugar
- Liquid salt (to taste)
- 55 grams (about 1/4 cup) yogurt
- Vanilla essence
Preparation:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (360°F) and grease a 22cm baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, vanilla essence, baking powder, eggs, caster sugar, and a pinch of salt.
- Using a high-speed mixer, blend the mixture for approximately three minutes, or until the batter is smooth and well combined.
- Pour the cake batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool for a few minutes in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack.
