3-Ingredient Onion Beef Roast
Super tender, juicy beef roast with rich onion gravy. Perfect for an easy, comforting meal.
Ingredients
- 2–3 lbs beef roast (chuck or brisket)
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 2 cups sliced onions
Instructions
- Place the beef roast in a baking dish or slow cooker.
- Spread sliced onions evenly over the meat.
- Sprinkle onion soup mix on top.
- Cover with foil (or lid if using slow cooker).
- Cook in oven at 160°C (325°F) for 3–4 hours
OR cook in slow cooker on LOW for 8 hours. - Slice or shred the beef and serve with the onion gravy.
Serving Ideas
Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or toasted bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
