Slow Cooker Ground Beef and Rice
A hearty and easy family dinner made with simple ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place ground beef in the slow cooker.
- Add uncooked rice on top of the beef.
- Add chopped onion.
- Pour in beef broth and tomato sauce.
- Mix everything together gently.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- Stir well before serving.
Serving Suggestions
- Serve as a main dish
- Add cheese on top
- Serve with a side salad
Tip: Add vegetables like carrots or peppers for extra flavor.
