📝 Ingredients
For the Meatloaf:
- 2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
For the Glaze:
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp mustard
👩🍳 Directions
1️⃣ Preheat
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet or lightly grease a loaf pan.
2️⃣ Mix
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
Mix gently — do not overmix to keep it tender.
3️⃣ Shape
Form into a loaf shape and place on baking sheet or in loaf pan.
4️⃣ Make the Glaze
Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread half over the top of the meatloaf.
5️⃣ Bake
Bake for 45 minutes.
Remove and spread remaining glaze on top.
Bake another 15–20 minutes or until internal temp reaches 160°F (71°C).
6️⃣ Rest & Serve
Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans for the perfect comfort meal.
