Whisk one simple mixture, pour it over raw beef, and let the slow cooker
do all the work. The result? Ultra-tender beef in a rich, creamy sauce
that tastes even better every time you make it.
🧾 Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef stew meat or chuck, cut into chunks
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Optional: 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
🥣 Instructions
1️⃣ Add the Beef
Place the raw beef chunks directly into the slow cooker.
2️⃣ Whisk the Creamy Mixture
- In a bowl or measuring cup, whisk together:
- Cream of mushroom soup
- Beef broth
- Onion soup mix
- Sour cream
- Garlic powder and pepper
- Worcestershire sauce (if using)
- Mix until smooth and creamy.
3️⃣ Cook Low & Slow
- Pour the sauce evenly over the beef.
- Cover and cook:
- LOW: 7–8 hours
- HIGH: 4–5 hours
- Stir gently before serving.
