Spaghetti Stuffed Shells

An easy, budget-friendly comfort food made with jumbo pasta shells, savory meat sauce, and melted cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 box jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 lb ground beef (hamburger meat)
  • 1 jar or can spaghetti sauce (meat sauce works great)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella or Italian blend cheese
  • Salt, pepper, and seasonings of choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil jumbo pasta shells according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. While pasta cooks, brown the ground beef in a skillet. Drain excess grease.
  4. Add spaghetti sauce to the cooked beef and season to taste.
  5. Spread a layer of sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Fill each pasta shell with the meat sauce and place in the dish.
  7. Pour extra sauce over the stuffed shells.
  8. Top generously with shredded cheese.
  9. Bake uncovered until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Tip: You can add ricotta or cream cheese to the filling for extra creaminess.
