Cheesy Baked Meatballs

Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
- Form the mixture into evenly sized meatballs.
- Place meatballs in a lightly greased baking dish.
- Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle cheese over each meatball.
- Return to oven for 5–7 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
Serving Suggestions
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice
- Perfect with a side of vegetables
- Great for family dinners or gatherings
Tip: For extra flavor, mix a little shredded cheese directly into the meatball mixture.
