5-Minute Melt-in-Your-Mouth Cake

This soft and tender cake literally melts in your mouth from the first bite.
It’s incredibly simple to make and perfect when you want a quick homemade dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¾ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light.
  3. Add oil, milk, and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Mix until smooth and lump-free.
  6. Pour batter into a greased or lined loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool slightly before slicing.

Optional Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Serving Suggestions

  • Serve warm with tea or coffee
  • Add caramel or vanilla glaze on top
  • Perfect for breakfast or dessert
Tip: You can add cinnamon, lemon zest, or chocolate chips
to give this cake a different flavor every time.
