🛒 Ingredients
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup milk or sour cream
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (lightly floured)
🧀 Cream Cheese Swirl
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
👩🍳 Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
- Gently fold in blueberries.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla.
- Pour half the batter into pan, add cream cheese mixture, then remaining batter.
- Swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 55–65 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely before slicing (if you can wait 😅).
💡 Tip: This loaf tastes even better the next day once the flavors fully settle.
