Cheesy Sloppy Joe Subs

🥖 Cheesy Sloppy Joe Subs
Soft toasted bread filled with rich, savory sloppy joe meat and topped with
gooey melted cheese. One bite is all it takes to get hooked forever.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¾ cup sloppy joe sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 4 sub rolls or hoagie buns
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned.
- Add onion and garlic; cook until soft.
- Stir in sloppy joe sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
- Slice sub rolls lengthwise and place on a baking sheet.
- Spoon meat mixture into each roll.
- Top generously with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
