Strawberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake
Moist, rich, and packed with fresh strawberries, this homemade pound cake
is the perfect dessert for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt or loaf pan.
- Cream butter and cream cheese together until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add sugar and beat until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Whisk flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
- Add dry ingredients to batter and mix gently.
- Stir in vanilla, then gently fold in strawberries.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60–70 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 15 minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely.
