🍍 Pineapple Pound Cake
Moist, buttery, and packed with sweet pineapple flavor
Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup crushed pineapple (with juice)
- ½ cup sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a bundt or loaf pan.
- Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the batter.
- Fold in crushed pineapple and sour cream until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before removing from pan. Drizzle with glaze if desired.
