This creamy mushroom bake is rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying.
Tender mushrooms are cooked in a savory sauce, topped with melted cheese,
and baked until bubbly and golden. Perfect as a main dish or a hearty side.

🧾 Ingredients

  • 16 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme or Italian seasoning
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add onions and sauté until soft, then add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Add mushrooms and cook until tender and lightly browned.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and milk. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  7. Transfer mixture to the baking dish.
  8. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  10. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
