This dish is pure comfort with a wholesome twist. Juicy steak bites,
al dente penne, and crisp broccoli are coated in a rich, velvety white sauce
that feels restaurant-worthy yet easy enough for a cozy weeknight dinner.
🧾 Ingredients
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup whole milk
- ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Optional: red pepper flakes, extra black pepper

Cook the pasta & broccoli:
Boil penne in salted water until al dente. Add broccoli during the last
2 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside. -
Sear the steak bites:
Season steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and juicy.
Remove and set aside. -
Start the white sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for about
1 minute until fragrant. -
Make it creamy:
Stir in heavy cream and milk. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened. -
Add the cheese:
Stir in Parmesan until melted and silky. Season with salt, pepper,
and red pepper flakes if desired. -
Bring it together:
Add penne, broccoli, and steak back to the skillet.
Toss gently until everything is evenly coated in the creamy sauce. -
Serve:
Finish with extra Parmesan and cracked black pepper.
