Chocolate Peanut Caramel Bars
🍫🥜 Fair warning… these are dangerously addictive! Perfect for parties, gifts, or late-night cravings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups roasted peanuts (or mixed nuts)
- 1 cup caramel candies, unwrapped
- 2 tbsp heavy cream or milk
- 1 1/2 cups milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil or butter (for melting chocolate)
- Flaky sea salt (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Spread the peanuts evenly in the pan.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt caramel candies with cream, stirring until smooth.
- Pour caramel evenly over the peanuts and let set for 10–15 minutes.
- Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth.
- Pour chocolate over the caramel layer and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
- Lift out, cut into bars, and serve.
